[TriEmbed] KiCAD component value and reference?

You hover the mouse pointer over the part, then type the key like "u" or 
"v". If you use "e" you can edit everythinhg.

But control-shift-right arrow doesn't work here for block deletion, 
contrary to the docs. I have to use the drop down for that. This is 
4.0.2+dfsg1-stable on Ubuntu 16.04.
