[TriEmbed] TriLUG Tonight! TARPN Off-The-Grid Text Messaging

Interesting.

As a Forge Initiative member, a TriEmbed meeting attender and general Geek,
I have recently invested in a couple of Baofeng Handy talkies and am
'studying' to get a Technician class license, hopefully at the Tuesday Aug
9th RARS meeting. Many years ago I got a license, but never got a radio and
let it lapse.

I'm not entirely sure what the IoT Mesh Station is that is under discussion
here, but I am interested. Assuming that a Technician class license is
sufficient (and that I pass Tuesday) and that the Forge as a whole is
interested, we may be able to work things out.
