[TriEmbed] BBB kernel > 3.8 experience

Alex,

I myself was going to upgrade to a newer kernel until I read that all sorts
of stuff didn't work yet on the newer ones. I guess that's why 3.8 is the
current standard. I last read this about a month ago and things can change
quickly, so I'd do a search first before you try it. Anyway what the harm,
if you have issues then just revert to the old one.
