[TriEmbed] ESP-8266 Lower Power Draw?

Now that I have set up a basic HTTP server on an ESP-8266 and made it
control something, I am looking further into the details.

One thing I'm interested in is the power draw. This chip uses 200 mA when
it's transmitting. Even if you don't transmit much, that's still an issue
for trying to run it from smaller batteries like coin cells. Anyone know of
a similar chip with lower power draw?
