[TriEmbed] Driving 32 5v relays

Rob,

I use a 4 relay set (just like yours only smaller) for my conveyor-simulator project connected through an IO port expander (MCP23017) which is controlled by a Raspberry Pi. At one point I had a 2-chip shield on my Pi (32 output pins, but only need 4). The relays are powered by an external 5V source and they switch 12VDC.  If you want more on this, let me know.
