My current most wanted item are VHF and UHF cavity filters. These don’t do well in the mail. I really need a hamfest. I was all set to go to Xenia OH in May. Now regretting not going to Concord NC! Or Hamcation. I did make it to Frostfest and that was really good.

Folks could share their creations, and yack and yack. (Zoom supports "meeting rooms" to partition folks into workable groups. But the "Zoom-master" would have to be a savant octopus with multiple brains and 50 eyes.)

We'll see if we can reorganize for the Cary hamfest and if not we'll get together again next year. If the RARSfest is postponed to a new date I'll contact you all again to see if we want to participate.

>> We are sad to announce that the 48th annual RARSfest/Roanoke Division Convention, scheduled for April 11, 2020, has been canceled in accordance with our Local government mandate. The health and wellness of all involved are a priority to Raleigh Amateur Radio Society and, there are no plans to reschedule the event this year. In an attempt to reduce the inconvenience to our loyal attendees all paid pre-registration monies will be refunded. Paypal and Check payments will be returned through the proper channels and cash payment persons will be contacted by RARS. We apologize for inconvenience and look forward in having you join us next year on April 3, 2021.
