Are you talking about establishing a link site physically at a particular building?
So far we’ve been looking to house the network equipment at a place where it will serve a specific individual licensed ham at the premises and hopefully be used by the person who financed it, configured it and maintains it. There are a couple of exceptions where the site was just too good to pass up as a link point. In my office case I have a 3 port node at work as well as a 3 port node at home and there is only one of me. We have another node at the house of a ham who never uses it, maintains it or otherwise. He has a really nice location on top of a big hill and with great antenna mounting opportunities.
Where would the building be? Is there a particular amateur radio operator that would finance it, use it and/or demo it?

Such a project will add the cellular space IOT dimension to Forge Initiative, as well will be a motivating factor for already existing many school kids there.

Plans are also in the making to provide ham operator training sessions and licensing exams at our TriLUG Hack Night location.

This capability may be useful to control a device in your back yard or to retrieve data from a weather balloon carrying a 3d Printed TriTux penguin launched into nearspace during a solar eclipse. Tonight's topic is a highly educational opportunity that will enable you to do so many great things. Tadd Torberg is a wealth of knowledge. You are sure to enjoy this meeting. We will see you there and feel free to invite others to enjoy free pizza, free drinks, free software, (even free beer at the same location 430pm-630pm), and most of all people who care about freedom.
