The first pieces of Monday's meeting are on the TriEmbed archive page
<http://triembed.org/blog/?page_id=62> now. The final, "highly focused
and orderly discussion" part of the meeting will uploaded tonight and be
available tomorrow.

Thanks to Ian Kilgore, Antonious Iskander, and Vikram Ulaganathan for
representing NCSU at the meeting during spring break.

Two announcements worth repeating:

    1) The regular meeting of "Raspberry Pi Geeks - Durham
<http://www.meetup.com/splatspace/events/220895229/>" will be at
Splatspace this month (as usual) on the 26th starting at 6:30pm. This is
the fourth Thursday and that's intended to be the permanent meeting day
going forward. This meeting is oriented toward folks at any experience
level.

    2) The biggest hamfest in this part of the country, RARSFest
<http://www.rars.org/rarsfest/>, will be taking place Saturday, April
4th, starting at 8am at the NC fairgrounds. It's a sea of tables and
booths of stuff folks like us find interesting. TriEmbed will have at
least one table, most likely close to Splatspace and TriLUG and/or other
groups and organizations (Anibit? Maniacal Labs?) if that can be
coordinated. If you've got anything you'd like to sell, bring it with a
label (and tell me how much table space you need). An end of one table
will have TriEmbed info. A sign, handouts, and hopefully some business
cards will be crafted between now and the hamfest. A first cut of
content for a handout is here <http://triembed.org/blog/?page_id=21>:
comments for making this better are welcome! And it sure would be nice
to loop back and settle on a logo.

There are some presentations penciled in for next month, but room for
more. Anybody got their meters of group-buy smart pixel strips winking
and blinking yet? I intend to bring a Raspberry Pi 2 and Odroid C1 to
briefly show a few contrasts and similarities between these two $35
multi-core boards running side by side via VNC. I might also have a new
Controleo2-driven reflow oven
<https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1471240030/controleo2-reflow-oven>
to show, and maybe a magnetometer-based metal object movement detector.
I'm guessing Chip McClelland may be in a position to give us an update
about his IOT project <http://triembed.org/blog/?p=959>, and Charlie
West might have time to share more about his QRcode-based
range/direction software
<https://github.com/charlesrwest/QRCodeStateEstimation>. And Paul may
have his robot upgraded. If you'd like to share something in April or at
a "future meeting" send a short description to the list (or directly to
me if you'd prefer).
