Definitely go with a nice iron. Hakko is one of the best. It may be a bit
pricey compared to other cheaper ones, but it works wonderfully, will last
forever, and you'll never have to worry about your tool not being up to the
job when working on a project. Also, there are plenty of different tips
available, should you need them.
