[TriEmbed] Raspberry Pi & remote temp sensor

I'm new to this list, so I hope the following isn't too off-topic...

I'm using various 1-wire sensors and controllers for home automation. I've
had good luck with products from Hobby Boards, https://www.hobby-boards.com,
using cat5 to connect everything. With cat5, distance has not been an
issue. One way to connect a 1-wire network to an RPi might be to use the
Hobby Boards USB adapter and 4-channel hub. This is how I connect my
network to a generic PC running linux. On the PC, I run the FUSE file
system and OWFS, which make the 1-wire devices appear as regular files.
