<div>FWIW, I used an (unmodified, not automated) old air popper to roast coffee for years - it works well! It's not precise at all, and you have to do it outside because the oil + chaff get everywhere, but was a fun hobby.<br></div><div><br></div>

some hot-air poppers. You can also check out other thrift stores
in the area and see their appliances. A $5 popper is certainly
