I hear you, brother. I'm in the middle of mailstroms to do with
another organization and seem to be meeting myself coming the other
way.<br>

To the others: I'll have an independent table at RARSfest too, so if
stuff keeps falling off Kevin's come and find me. I'll have around
100 240x320 color touch screen displays that plug into Unos or Uno
compatibles. If the Chinese don't let me down I might be
demonstrating this with a board that looks like an Uno but has an
ESP-32 instead of an Atmega328.<br>
<br>
While I'm at it, I recently wrote a multi-tasking support library
for Arduino and if Paul doesn't need a do-over next month I can go
over the design and some demonstrations.<br>
<br>
And we sure could use somebody who knows how to capture slides,
camera and audio and put it into a mpeg or other file that YouTube
can handle. Charlie West knows the magic spells using VLC, I think,
but is no longer active and I failed to ask for a cheat sheet from
him. <br>

Huh? When I decided to swap the amateur radio hobby for other
activities, I sold great gleeping gobs of my stuff before
opening time. Yes, it was to dealers who turned around and made
a profit on it. But for me it was an acceptable sale vs no sale.
I hauled two sections of Rohn 45 to RARSfest and couldn't get
anybody interested in the *complete* 110 foot tower system it
was advertising, but I had lacked the sense to put a clear sign
on the sections to communicate with the dealers beforehand. But
when I connected with somebody prior to the start of a later
attempt it led to a deal that got the thing out of my barn.<br>

Seriously, I've been at many of the RARSfests for over 30 years
and this is the first time I've heard of this rule. One could at
least slip a "sold" sign on something one second after start
time and have the other party pick it up later to stay within
the rules? I don't want to condone breaking the rules. The
RARSFest organizers are friends. But surely a verbal contract
before the start time would not be "illegal"?<br>
