I just wanted to get this on everyone's radar. Several times in the
past we (both TriEmbed & Splat*Space) have had a table at the
Raleigh hamfest. http://rars.org/rarsfest/

Splat*Space usually has the cardboard banner, and the Vellemen
electronic kits there, plus promotion for the upcoming
learn-to-solder classes at our space. 3D-Printers are popular.
This year I plan to have some scanner equipment up and running. We
can flea-market anything we would like -- including anything from
Mount Doom!! Any proceeds I would put back into the general
equipment fund.

TriEmbed promotes various uses of embedded systems to control
various parts of your ham radio gear, and a special interest of
mine, software defined radio. Of course TI LaunchPads, Raspberry
Pis, and Arduinos are very popular.

In both cases I would like everyone to be thinking of volunteering
at our tables, and thinking of showcasing your projects.

The cost for a table is $18 and $25 for electric power, but these
are usually defrayed via donations we receive from visitors on
site. This happens on the Saturday of Easter weekend from 7:30am to
5:00pm.

I'll bring it up again on the next couple of Tuesdays.
