[TriEmbed] virtual Quercus (TriEmbed ESP32+FPGA) User Group Meeting 8/31 7-9pm

Note the regular monthly TriEmbed meeting will be the 2nd Monday of the 
month as usual.

This is the kick off meeting of a user group for folks interested in 
learning to make applications with ESP32 MPUs and the Renesas (formerly 
Dialog) line of mixed signal FPGAs.  It will be online with Jitsi at

Quercus User Group Meeting Agenda

1) Introduction Roundtable

2) Intro to Quercus User Group (Dawn/Pete)
Overview of quercus project parts (diagram)
User group Goal #1
- get ourselves (initial user group members) to the point where we can 
change the blink rate on the ESP32/FPGA project boards. Tools include:
- quercus tools (aardvark)
- GoConfigure software (FPGA)
- ESP32
- debugger (JTAG? - for future discussion)
- document our steps so future members can easily get up to speed
- create curated list of external resources

Possible Goal #2 - progress to programming some FPGAs (Cookbook designs, 
or design-your-own)
Possible Goal #3 - provide feedback to quercus designers on limitations, 
feature requests, ease of use, etc

Discussion – what do users want from Quercus User Group & Meetings? 
Comments? Other suggestions?

3) Quick overview of Quercus tool usage (Pete/ Nick)
- demo current tools using an ESP32 program to blink an the LED
- comments on future features in the works (Nick)

4) Hands on with GoConfigure software (Nick/Pete)
