[TriEmbed] Enclosure decals

P-Touch type labels are not what Ron is looking for.  I think he wants something
like this picture:
where he is lettering directly on the enclosure surface.

Normally you would use rub-on dry-transfer lettering like these:

Dry Transfer Decals - White Gothic Letters
but then you have to painstakingly line up each letter, and then you have to
apply some clearcoat paint to keep them on the enclosure.

If you print on decal paper, you have to use a solvent after applying the decal
on the enclosure to conform it to the surface and hide away the clear decal
layer, and then clearcoat on top of that:

$8.15

Your best bet is to use a vinyl cutter (Cricut, Silhouette, or the big one at
SplatSpace) and cut the lettering out on vinyl paper, then use a backing paper
over the freshly cut letters to keep them in line and painstakingly peel away
the discard material with a tweezers from the sticky side while trying to keep
each letter from lifting off the backing material.  When you place and burnish
the result on the enclosure, you have to slowly peel the backing material away
while keeping each letter sticking to the surface -- hard to do with such small
letters and not end up distorting some of the letters.  And you still what to
clearcoat over it so the the vinyl's adhesive doesn't dry out over time and a
few of the letters fall off.

$7.99

Another option is to get a stamping kit from Michaels or Hobby Lobby where you
can insert the individual rubber letters into the stamp to say any word you want
-- kind of like an old printing press -- and dip into a thinned white paint and
stamp it onto your enclosure.
