*NOTE: BUILDING/ROOM CHANGE FOR OUR IEEE R&A MONTHLY TECHNICAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 4TH - NCSU EB3 Room 2207 !!*

*Frank Agius, Principal Engineer from iRobot* will present a session about
STEM motivational projects related to iRobot Create 2 product with API
walkthrough and hands on demo for a selective subset of projects.

iRobot Create2 is a perfect smart home STEM motivational product for
hobbyists to get started to hack for a creative set of mechatronics Roombot
projects, right from the school students to senior professionals. Create 2
kit seems to provide integration API including those with minimum amount of
Python code.

iRobot Create 2 seems to easily integrate with Raspberry Pi and different
cameras including 3D Primesense with which it appears to be possible to
develop a basic level indoor autonomous navigational Roombot by the
hobbyists when combined with extra video processing compute power. The
ability of Roombots to communicate with each other and get back to the
charging station is very creative.

There appears many iRobot Create 2 projects in github(link below).
