Never trust the autorouter!

I can't speak for fully-automatic routing, but KiCad 6.0's interactive 
routing tools (push-and-shove, walk-around) are actually quite 
impressive and time-saving once you get used to the controls.  I don't 
know about the official release version; I've moved to bleeding-edge on 
several of my FOSS tools.
