[TriEmbed] anybody design MPPT circuits?

If you've designed MPPT circuits I'd like to have an off list
conversation. Imagine a power source that has a very slow response to an
open circuit condition compared to a solar cell. I'd like to figure out
a strategy for using an existing harvesting device (e.g. a TI BQ25504)
or confirm that I can't get there from here with these kinds of devices
because they assume open circuit voltages can be measured in a fraction
of a second.
