We are having our monthly R&A meeting on May 1st, 2019 at 6:55pm (6:30 pm
for pizza) in *2124 NCSU Engineering Building 3*. The topic will be
"*RIOT Accelerator Information Session and IEEE International Solid-State
Circuits Conference(ISSCC) based review on Latest Technologies*"
This is a very special event open to everyone. Tom Snyder from Raleigh IOT
will introduce and walk through to the audience about the RIOT accelerator
program that has been causing a very positive impact to the local
technology community. In addition, our impressive IEEE life member, will
provide a review of IEEE International Solid-State Circuits
Conference(ISSCC) based state of the art latest technologies review.
*Please note: Change of day(Wednesday instead of regular first Mondays)
and slightly earlier time to better accommodate students schedule.*

Tom Snyder from Raleigh IOT will introduce and walkthrough to the audience
about the RIOT accelerator program that has been causing a very positive
impact to the local technology community.
Tom is Executive Director of RIoT, supporting Internet of Things and
disruptive technology industry growth. By day he runs RIoT Labs at HQ
Raleigh. In his spare time, Tom co-instructs Product Innovation Lab, a
Forbes award winning multi-disciplinary course in Innovation and
Entrepreneurship at NC State. Prior to joining RIoT, Tom held an executive
leadership role at the ASSIST Center, a National Science Foundation
sponsored effort to create wearable electronics for healthcare monitoring.
Previously, he spent two decades in product development and technology
incubation in NC.
*IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) based review on
Latest Technologies:*
Clay Cranford, a veteran in semiconductor industry, who is also a Life IEEE
Senior Member will provide a review of IEEE International Solid-State
Circuits Conference(ISSCC) based state of the art latest technologies of
today.
Clay has received multiple awards from IBM(IBM Patent Awards, Corporate
Award and Outstanding Technical Achievement Award for High Speed Serial
Link Design) with over 140+ patents in his career.
*This event is open to entire set of IEEE chapters/societies/councils,
students, professionals, hobbyists, seniors, life members, Women in
Engineering(WIE), Young Professionals(YP), Consultant Network(CN). * *
