[TriEmbed] biz tools for freelance developers

Hey Pete,

I've been freelancing full time for about a year now, and the two tools
below have been invaluable to me:
For time tracking and managing hours on a project, I recommend Harvest:
https://www.getharvest.com/For balancing your books, I recommend Wave: https://www.waveapps.com/

Harvest has plugins for every operating system to make time tracking
easy. My workflow is to do time tracking in Harvest, then create and
manage invoices in Wave. You can hook up Wave to your business bank
account too and attach receipts to all the line items that it sees in
your account. I've found that the two of them are quite inexpensive and
they have been enough for my 1 person company doing full-time
freelancing. For everything else (estimates and other documents), I use
Google Docs with a custom template, but Word would be fine here too.
Best,
Brian
