*What’s Inside NVIDIA GPUs That Makes Them So Fast? *
------------------------------

*NVIDIA *has been playing a major role in High Performance Computing
architectural solutions involving automation in multiple fields like deep
learning, self-driving cars, gaming, pro-graphics, autonomous machines,
research, Artificial Intelligence and much more.

During our monthly technical session during August 6th, Dr. Lars S. Nyland
senior Architect, Computer Architecture group, NVIDIA will walkthrough the
highlights of NVIDIA GPU internal architectures that makes NVIDIA an
optimal choice in the area of High Performance Computing.

*Speaker Information:*

*Dr. Lars S. Nyland works as a Senior Architect in Compute Architecture
Group, NVIDIA. Dr. Nyland joined NVIDIA 13 years ago just as NVIDIA had
decided to promote general-purpose computing on GPUs. He has contributed
to the designs with new features for parallel computing, verification of
novel mathematical functions, and performance evaluation. He has been a
resident of the Triangle area of NC for 37 years, coming to Durham to get
his PhD at Duke followed by 12 years of being a professor at UNC-CH.*
