The Dads race was last night. After a few engineering challenges I ended up with a 3 wheeled car. It did not have enough power to run by itself. Ran it on the track. It got about half way along the flat part and fell off. My rear driving wheel was not good. Turns out there is a reason to run with 4 wheels in the groove of the track.

I ran out of time getting the CHIP installed on the car, too much power was not a concern anyway. I did get the CHIP powering the motor though.

I have a few months to improve the design for next year :)

My Son's car won "Best Craftsmanship". We made a 1966 Mustang. Working white LED's in the front and red LED's in the back probably helped. Learned some things about resistors building that car. My Son learned how to solder and how to use a breadboard.

I appreciate everyones help with the Cars.

If there is interest, I can do "lessons learned" presentation to TriEmbed sometime.

Craig
