[TriEmbed] advice about selling reels of passive SMDs

Consider give-away components to those that come to meetings or those that participate. If you have tables at any conventions, give them away to people that come to the table. Maybe you will interest some people to do something with them, or at least get a chance to talk to them. It's amazing how people will come around when you are handing things out. People at a minimum just want to see what the free stuff is.

Are the values that obscure?  Why only the most unlikely projects?  0603 
is my go-to for most SMD passives.
