This Thursday from 6:30-9pm at Splatspace <http://Splatspace.org> Geoff
Tattersfield, Tony Bennett and I will do a workshop on simple web-based
control of Raspberry Pi GPIO pins that might best be called "how many
lines of Python code does it take to turn on a light bulb?" The Python
Flask lightweight framework will be used to show how easy it is to
arrange remote control using your home network. If you'd like to work
through the workshop yourself bring your Raspberry Pi, monitor, keyboard
and mouse (and WiFi dongle), or just bring yourself to watch and learn.
Help for Raspberry Pi setup and other project support will be available.
Splatspace has a full-featured electronics workbench for hardware support.

More details are available on this Meetup page
<http://www.meetup.com/splatspace/events/227423197/>. The address is 800
North Mangum st, Durham, but the building parking lot entrance is off
Corporation between Roxboro (northbound) and Mangum (southbound). It's
3/4 mile north of DPAC. There should be a lighted sign pointing to the
entrance. Apologies if the light at the entrance door is still out of
order (the irony is painful!)
