Good to hear from you!

Yes. The ball grid array session was not worth the money, but the 
morning session (through hole and surface mount with conventional irons) 
was very satisfying. I can bring the practice board to the next meeting. 
The soldering irons were Weller WX1/WXMP (inexpressibly wonderful) and 
there were excellent microscopes.
