What do you mean by depth? These are round batteries as in the photo. These
batteries are single cells and have a standard Ni-CD voltage of 1.2V. You
could put three in series to get 3.6V. If i'm not mistaken most Atmel chips
will work fine between 1.8 and 5.5 volts. Five in series would give you
exactly 6V and you could regulate it down to 3.3V or 5V to get longer life
between charges. These are not Li-po batteries, so would be easier to
charge, but you'll still need a charger.
