[TriEmbed] geekSPARK 2015 call for talent - TETRIS on RHT'S exterior

Awesome! :)

With your expertise in mesh networks, I think the biggest concern is the
lights themselves and the driving hardware.
I actually already have all the code needed to not only control displays
over the network but have multiple displays act as one (and it's all
threaded, multiplexed, etc). So, for example, you could have a single one
of the network boards you showed me controlling multiple lights on a single
floor... basically one controller per "row" of the display. The big thing
there would be finding places on each floor with continuously accessible
windows. The controller would just run a receiver that understands my
protocol and then my software breaks the matrix display up into
sub-displays but we program the animation itself as if it was all one
physically connected display.

I'm open to suggestions for what to actually use for the lights. The
digital strips I use with our controller board are total overkill... we
don't need single pixel control. The RGB analog strips you can get would be
much cheaper but we'd need a way to drive and control them. Oddly enough...
well, not really... Dan and I are already working on a controller for those
kind of lights too. But it has yet to actually be developed yet. So if
anyone has thoughts for something cheap and more off the shelf...

Anyways... that's my thoughts for now :)

Great meeting everyone!
