[TriEmbed] Did anyone discuss M2M data plans?

I know Chip was looking at data plans for his monitoring devices but do not
recall if anyone has talked about M2M data plans.

Doing some searching and found this one which is GSM (2G, 3G) and gives you
1MB per month for a year for $29.92.

Does anyone have a feel for how many data points you can transmit in a 1MB
allowance? I have no idea how much the protocol overhead may eat into your
data. I suspect some bundling of data would be require to optimize your
real-world data-points per 1MB.
