[TriEmbed] same microscope on a "goose neck"

That is essentially what I did with the USB microscope I bought; $30 off of
Ebay, I think. I printed ball-joint connectors off of Thingiverse and
assembled a gooseneck weighted base to replace the inadequate one that came
with it. If anyone wants details let me know.
The main problem with using most of these USB microscopes is a short
working distance that makes it hard to get between the lens and the work
with tools. They're great for inspection, though.
